How our advertising works

• First-party only. Slots are served from our own server as plain HTML. There is no ad network, no third-party script and no cookie. Our content security policy blocks external scripts outright, so this is enforced by the site itself, not just promised.
• No visitor tracking. We do not profile you, and we cannot: there is nothing on the page that could.
• Clearly labelled. Every slot is marked "Advertisement".
• Never beside evidence. Slots appear on public information pages only. They never appear during a check or beside a private or shared report, so no advertiser sits next to a statement about a named business.
• Fixed monthly rate. No auction, no pay-per-click, so nothing about our traffic shape changes what we publish.

Who we will not take money from

• Letting agents and estate agents.
• Lead-generation, comparison or introducer services acting for them.
• Anyone requesting influence over a report, or asking for a report to be changed, suppressed or promoted.

This rule is the point, not a formality. The moment agents fund the service that checks agents, the findings stop being worth anything.

Who fits

Services genuinely useful to people renting or letting a home, and independent of the agent relationship — deposit alternatives, contents insurance, moving and utilities services, tenancy advice organisations, training and professional bodies, and legal or advice charities.
